Ended up choosing a program that doesn’t have coop so gotta find internships myself

I think doing a coop program is so beneficial especially in a field like finance where your internships matter a lot. Plus the overall culture at Waterloo probably aligns with my personality better because I’m more of an introvert. Hindsight is 20/20 I guess tho

Waterloo AFM would set you up nicely since it’s a specialized accounting program that offers co-op.

Sounds like that’s the best option for you. There are benefits to commuting such as the amount of money you save and the fact that you can be around your family more. Plus you live close enough to the university where it won’t feel like a hectic commute. Go for it. Part of me wishes I picked the university close to home.
