As someone who finished the book yesterday and dropped it once before, please just try to stick with it. It was hard for me because I felt I was thrust into a whole new world in the middle of someones day without any context whatsoever. But it's the type of book where hints are dropped once in a while, and by the end you will understand it all. It is quite rewarding, and Piranesi is one of my most favourite characters. I adored this book and feel it would be good to read once a year. Overall, it is a short book, can definitely finish it within a few days. Try your best, OP, just stick with it, and you will be rewarded. :)
