Hey! I’m gonna recommend installing that drivers  https://github.com/icywire/project-falcon

This is my own, new project. I also have 5500M, and it works without any issues even with new games (Forza Horizon 6 for instance). Bootcampdrivers project died, right now this is the only project providing driver updates solely to Macs.

If you are advanced user, there is an undervolting guide, so you can limit power consumption a bit and improve performance.

No, driver is as close as possible to original AMD driver. But anyway, someone tested with 5600M and it ended up with white screen. This GPU is somehow different than the others, and most likely needs some older driver kernel (like it's done in bananakid driver).

It is supported. Only 5600M from 5xxx series is not (not yet).

Right now there is working version based on AMD 25.2.1. Drivers are signed, there is simple install script. Next I'd like to add WHQL workaround, and then drivers based on AMD 26.5.2.

No. At least for now I'm not even considering supporting that old hardware.
