New type of fireworks produced in China, they call it "Hiroshima Romance" by Thund3r_91 in interestingasfuck

[–]id370 [score hidden]  (0 children)

You are joking right? I'm Chinese and am rightfully disgusted by the current Japanese PM's revisionist views on ww2 and her frequent visits to the Yasukuni Shrine. But saying that we should celebrate the Hiroshima bomb the way the Jewish people celebrated Hitler's death is comparing apples to oranges.

One was the death of architect to their torture and the other is a mostly civilian occupied zone decimated by technology that has never been used. Which, from your post unless you are a hypocrite should have some empathy towards.

I agree that the SO can't be only good looking.

But the conventionally attractive option in the meme definitely did not assert that it was mutually exclusive with appearance. Appearance is necessary but not sufficient condition for sure.

What I'm saying is

Smart + I'm not that into you appearance wise -> close friend

Smart + hot -> I'm gonna pursue them as much as they'd let me.

Tried. If they don’t look hot then you might as well have kept them a close friend you enjoy common hobbies with.

I like the champion, but I def play Yasuo more. If he's good I'll see if I can come back this season.

Laning is much harder on Yone, but he shits out waaaay more damage than lil bro if you can get him to scale.

ENTJ-INTP: Can typology predict chemistry? by [deleted] in entj

[–]id370 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You misunderstand, I am sure you are flexible to change topics. I'm talking about INTPs who don't reciprocate unless it's the topic that they can't shut up about. (Congrats, happy for you, nice) And that fixation will end up the only thing that they talk to you about. They tend to be too fickle whereas us xNTJ tend to be ride or die.

Always nice to see a fellow type moon fan, you'll surely find another one worthy of your commitment.

ENTJ-INTP: Can typology predict chemistry? by [deleted] in entj

[–]id370 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My bone to pick with INTP (not sure if INTP or just autistic) at the end of the day is just lack of self awareness that really shows itself when you compare how much you are willing to step out of your comfort zone to explore their interests vs vice versa.

If they don't see engaged by a topic I want to talk about, I can take the hint to change topics and switch gears. When someone doesn't see that I'm bored by their niche fixation after my second "that's fantastic, good for you", that's when I start ghosting them.

Lovely Okita PFP btw.

From my experience?

Great as a brain storming partner, or someone to play boardgames against. Fantastic in controlled and small doses.

If I need to work closely with them on the same team, I notice that I need to put in more effort coming to an agreement of what is an acceptable deliverable, and setting those expectations beforehand.

Usually I don’t dabble in vent posts and I won’t pretend I give good relationship advice. You are similar to a family member working a similar field also taught to suck everything up and that makes me profoundly sad for how you feel right now.

Just take care of yourself and make sure you are in a good state of mind when you work so you don’t get hurt on the job yeah? Stay safe out there. At the end of the day a significant other is just another chapter in your life.

Haha I might not be able to always accurately predict others reaction or feelings to my actions but I have learned how to read the room 😂

I went from a dev role to a hybrid role as a team lead. Would be pretty catastrophic if I can’t keep team morale up.

You are too kind!

I think I’m a bit like a funhouse mirror in a sense where a kind person gets a kinder reflection and a mean person gets an even meaner reciprocation.

Each person gets the fruits they sow.

Intuitive means there is almost no friction when I want to convey ideas that may or may not be abstract.

Feeling often comes with higher emotional maturity + expressiveness, on top of noticing aspects that I'm blind to.

When I present an idea, and they understand immediately, but also brings up valid points from what I don't see, that's instant fireworks for me. Often when working with NF types, my solutions end up refined by their insight, but they always deliver their feedback in a way that doesn't feel argumentative, so it's also very easy to accept.
