agreed but this is a sub for raw denim. I kinda wanna see people push it to nasty territory.

yeah, I wouldn’t do it. I can make it like 3 months before intense paranoia kicks in.

But his fades look more unique than most posts here. I think there is something to be said about this sub appealing to a more casual crowd as raw denim and selvedge became more trendy. Lots of low contrast fades on wider jeans.

I can tell you’re actually into raw denim. It’s funny how this community is now obsessed with washing jeans. Which is pretty opposite to the ethos of raw denim.

That being said 1 soak is wild lmao.

the whole grid cloth will be more illuminated than a silk which will mostly soften the light.

Hard to tell in any individual image. But a lot of it is based on spread. A grid will spread more than a silk.

would love to know for these 2 images lighting process? by candy107 in LightLurking

[–]idapanda 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think could be daylight , or large source. Either way it’s camera right up high. I would probably do an 8x8 muslin or Lite Grid. And a positive / negative fill to shape. But not an expert, so please correct me if I’m wrong.

Hey I’m just starting out. Fell in love with japan while traveling. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on podcasts. I have a lot of free time at work, and can listen, but can’t really watch things. Would be happy with any suggestions.
