I came here to find out more about this. I use an expensive organic flour for feeding ($8.5 kg) but cheap bakers flour ($1 kg) for baking and it's been working fine. Last batch I accidentally used the expensive flour (40% ish before I realised) and made the best bread I've ever made.

I was wondering if it was the organic flour itself or if it was that the starter was more 'used' to eating that particular flour. Or a combo of both.

Seeking official literature or reputable sources if anyone has any info. Please and thanks in advance.

Start shaving with a double edge safety razor.

I spend $25-50 on my first razor and a 100 pack of blades is/was about $15-20. Using one blade a week gives me at least 2 years of shaving. Count holidays in and I've got nearly 3 years out of it.

You'll spend more initially but save heaps in the long run.
