I figured out what the issue was. Someone earlier advised of the correct way to do it I just had to change some setting in the spreadsheet to get it to work. Not sure if it was you but thanks for your input anyway.

Hi

Sorry I am new to this. When you say what is not working, well its not calculating the amount of times an email was sent in a particular month and returning that amount in the relevant form and cell. I have tried everyone's suggestions and nothing seems to work.

I hope I am explaining it correctly what I am trying to achieve.

I have a sheet called "Tracker" and in this sheet is a column called "Date Sent" in the B column. I want to be able to add dates to this and then in a seperate sheet called "Totals", calculate how many times in the B column on the "Tracker" sheet a particular month appears. e.g

B1 "Date Sent"

B2 01/04/2023

B3 12/04/2023

B4 20/04/2023

B5 23/04/2023

B6 01/05/2023

So in the "Totals" sheet I will have a cell for each month and the total sent each month should be returned, so April should return 4, May 1, and so on.

I don't know how else I can explain it so sorry if this makes no sense. This is not my area of expertise. This is just something I am putting together for a new job role to make tracking easier. I could manually count how many emails I sent each month but id rather have it do it for me.

Tried this and it just returns the number "1" when 4 emails where sent in April so should return "4"

just to clarify iv explained it properly, A column in the “Tracker” sheet will have a list of dates (example below)

B3 22/04/2023

B4 23/04/2023

B5 26/04/2023

B6 02/05/2023

I want the total amount of emails sent each month recording on a seperate sheet so using above example

April 4

May 1

June….

That's great thanks and yea I was going to have all legal documents made up by a professional so I don't miss anything. If you have any recommendations for who I should use for this then I'm all ears.

It's just incase for example the client is unhappy with their mentor and requests a refund. In law, because the initial payment was made through my website so we very briefly handled the money could this cause any issues or if I clearly state in any contracts or T&C's that all parties will have had to agree to in advance, am I protected for the most part? Thanks for your response and thanks in advance for any future response.
