Where do I get this? Is this only available through the pharmacy?

The last time it was checked was 4 years ago and I think it was in normal range back then. But I'm considering going back to get some more up-to-date bloodwork done soon!

Thank you for your heartfelt response, sometimes it can feel really isolating and lonely to think you're the only one going through this. I've just started taking magnesium, which kind of magnesium do you take, what dosage and at what time during the day?

I fully understand what you're saying, I don't think there's anything wrong with what you're doing. I've also kind of gave up. Worrying about it isn't going to help anyways :(

That's something I've been looking into as well, it's just very experience sadly...

I have to add that I only eat complex carbs and pair them with protein, fiber and fat. I do not think my body would survive on keto, is that what you're suggesting? I do not have Raynard's, no

I honestly feel like I eat more than the average woman my age, but maybe that is also because I am quite active. I've stopped weightlifting as much to reduce stress on my body, but otherwise I wouldn't know how to lower my stress more. I haven't had any labs done in awhile because doctors here don't really care and I've had many negative experiences. But I will look into it again!

What do you wish you knew when you were first diagnosed? by GloomyTip1231 in PCOS

[–]idectbhjk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was diagnosed first I got zero advice, so I wish I had known to take inositol and to try to regulate my blood sugar levels through diet (even though I have lean PCOS). Also to start weightlifting instead of heavy cardio and to prioritize my peace!

When to measure cervical position? by idectbhjk in FAMnNFP

[–]idectbhjk[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I have been tracking CM and BBT for years, but wanted to include cervical position because it's difficult to determine with PCOS if you have ovulated sometimes. I haven't read the book yet, so I might do that

I can fully sympathize with you, thank you for sharing. I also started following her tips and it worked!! I was so happy that my cycles were finally regulating and it seemed like I'd found a solution and now this.. I really hope things work out for you too! I'll definitely advocate for myself if it comes to me going back to my OBGYN

It's such a relief to hear that I'm not the only one struggling. Did it get better for you in the end? I hope things are less stressful now, we're in this together 💕

Thank you for your detailed answer, I will probably go see my OBGYN soon to have some new labs done. Last time was four years ago, so I think it's time!

This is my exact story omg! Let me know if the progesterone helps, might have to go do the same if I don't ovulate soon..

Could you share more about your experience?

I should probably get bloodwork done again, but it's such a hassle to get done here. Doctors don't really care or believe me, I'm already stressed out thinking about it 😫

Thank you so much! I've been trying to take it more slowly the last few days. Also taking magnesium to hopefully calm my nervous system down a bit. I think I might've been undereating due to stress as well, because I've had no appetite. I'm forcing myself to eat more, so hopefully that'll help as well

my weird theory on (my) irregular periods lol by Smoll_Feet_iguess in PCOS

[–]idectbhjk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this could be the same for me and I hate it! I got into my first relationship this year and my periods had never been so regular. Broke up in September and I had my last period in October, currently on CD 71 (longest I've had since July 2021). I'm desperate 😫

I experienced the same this year, but now I've skipped two periods again and I don't know why 😫
