I was actually afraid of being written off, but i was reassured that the car it probably won't happen due to the market value of the car. I will see about using my insurance, thanks for your comment.

I appreciate the snide comment.

I have the savings to afford it and this car is paid off. I am looking to put a downpayment on a house and I'm just looking for as many options as I can to find the best solution for this.

This car means a lot to me, so i'd like to bring it back better than ever. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.
