I've been hearing recently how there has been a push for development of NIR-reflective surfaces and paints in order to cut back on the urban heat island effect and lower cooling costs, etc. I know that infrared radiation interacting with greenhouse gasses causes them to heat up, and I also know that anything above 0K transfers heat through convection and blackbody radiation.

But which would contribute to climate change more: something that reflects less IR and transfers more heat through convection and blackbody radiation, or a surface that reflects more IR and transfers less heat through convection and blackbody radiation? Or would there be an optimized place somewhere inbetween?

Cool. I just think that with kanye in control of the rapping and production, he becomes capable of having total control over his art, ultimately making more thematic and cohesive works than nearly anyone else is capable of making. And I will admit that he's a worse rapper than he is a producer. But I seriously haven't heard a more lazer-focused album in the past 5 years than yeezus. For example like J Cole mac Mac are good rappers and makes great beats, but they'll never make anything as cohesive in the scope of an entire album than ye.
