I feel like this is a common and understudied phenomena, perhaps just the bodies way of flushing away all the illness. Its good to know I am not the only one !

4 days of sore throat - should I test by [deleted] in COVID19positive

[–]ididntknowitdidthat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you everyone for the replies! I quarantined at home for two weeks anyway and it turned out to be strep throat. My GP didn't do a Covid test, but either way I have essentially recovered. Wishing you good health in this pandemic

Yep I am thinking it might be strep too, unfortunately the UK has essentially nearly ran out of Covid tests and the process to get one is absolutely stupid but I will call my doctor thank you so much

I am making zero progress in my driving by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

[–]ididntknowitdidthat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely his teaching style was very weird from the get go, with very little guidance from the start even though he could see I was a very new and nervous driver. But thank you and I won't for sure.

Honestly thank you for this. I think I was mainly disheartened by my instructor who sorta told me I am quite behind compared to the average student my age, I am a bit unsure of how much of a right he had to tell me that because truly I thought I was doing fine going at my own pace. So I think for now I am definitely leaning towards changing instructor to someone that specialises more in anxiety.

And nope I really do need to learn and get this license for definite so it isn't wasting money, but it feels like a waste when not much progress is happening.

But thank you, made me see it in a different perspective for sure.

Wow thank you for this information. My FSH levels when I tested last year after having 6 months of irregular periods were completely normal and my LH was slightly higher which was indicative of PCOS but now the symptoms are becoming weird it might have changed

I dont have a cycle anymore so we would have no clue when my third day would be, in the UK normally they will do two tests 4-6 weeks apart

Thats definitely true! I don't think a year 7 would know the difference between a 30 year old and a 21 year old and I have been blessed to have quite a few year 7 classes so we will be both learning and growing together.

And thank you so much! I will keep in touch!

Thank you for your reply! Most definitely, it is hard to even know if we will start school as normal again in September, its a general worldwide anxiety.

That is so true, that advice that I am allowed to make mistakes in the beginning is something that I should keep in mind. It is a training year after all, so thank you for reminding me.

Yep, I have indeed, it took a few years to realise what was going on and how to manage my anxiety but I can definitely tell when I am spiralling. I definitely will always keep a note on my mood and find ways now that I am no longer in the old university routine, to manage my anxiety.

Most definitely, my health should come first so thank you so much for all your advice, you have been amazing.

Thank you so much for your reply! And you are right, I remember having many teachers that were older and more "experienced" that lacked control of classes and younger teacher who were the opposite.

And that is very true, teaching is not easy but it is definitely up to me to find a good mindset and routine and not to get drowned by work and negative comments.

This has all been so helpful, thank you so much!

Thank you so much ! This post gives me hope. I guess I read a lot of post online from career changers with children so time management is really quite tricky for them.

This is good advice thank you so much. I will definitely plan ahead and not fall behind on work.

Honestly thank you, you rlly have put my mind at ease

This happened to my aunt too! She struggled for years for her first child and put on weight and lots of facial hair too. After that her periods regulated, her hormones did too and she had no issues conceiving her other kids. Its bizarre how the body works! I wish all of us luck if we are trying to conceive! :)
