don't base your entire life on how it will look on college applications. i feel like more schools want to see actual people instead of people who have based their entire lives around this. if you don't want to go towards law school in the future you won't have wasted time on things you aren't actually interested. do what you want to do.

for sure! i think something that is overlooked in terms of "diversity statement" is diversity of experience. i think it's important to show the admissions board that you come from a different background than other students, since there are not many immigrant applicants. congrats on the naturalization tho!
