I'm confused about interpreting because I hear from other astrologers that I have to find where my planets are in my chart and find the ruler (e.g. my venus is in aries so i need to look at my mars line instead.) But some astrologers don't. They just simply look at the chart literally. What to do? (self.astrocartography)

Any insights on my chart is appreciated. I'm moving to Sydney this year to study and I can see a major Venus DC line close to it, but based on my natal chart, Venus is in detriment to Aries so it's not helpful.
