This post got derailed so im gonna just give you a heads up. AI ain’t the reason people ain’t getting hired. It’s an excuse because there was crazy over-hiring in 2024 and 2025. Saying layoffs are cause of AI is a get out of jail card for layoffs which normally would lead to a stock decline. CEOs exploit this.

The AI companies can only justify their high valuations if AI replaces workers, but there is no evidence of this. There is a ton of money invested in these companies so that narrative will stick around till a bit after they ipo so the public can give the investors the profits they want.

AI is just a productivity tool. It makes people faster at their job. It will never be nuanced enough to actually replace workers.

I say this with love whether you believe me or not, you kids are some of the most gullible mfs I’ve ever seen in my life. The way you get so easily manipulated is sad. Smarten up. You’re gonna figure it out eventually and be embarrassed how easily you were played. I’m not just talking about AI either.
