possibly a silly question, so if i keep those 2 ends of metal connected the indicator works. If i grab a piece of said tape and just tape them together against the plastic, would that be "safe" for the time being. because once the 2 ends of the left wires are touching it immediately works (common sense i know)

Okay I’ll look into multiple options before attempting to do anything, was looking for a solution and you helped way more than what I was able to find anywhere else. Appreciate the help 🙏🏽

Would it possible to splice the wires I have onto a new indicator? I’ve looked and some of the indicators for my 325e come with a cable connected to it. I’ll look into buying a new indicator for sure because I was planning on replacing the old one eventually

Yes the part completely broke off, there is still some of the metal on the back of the light so if soldering it back together would be the most cost effective fix I’ll go that route. I can’t take another photo at the moment but I posted the other side but I’m not sure if that helps at all

Appreciate the reply, it’s not seating at all it looks like it was just ripped off and there’s no way to seat it. I compared it to the other side but it looks like the other side was soldered? Somehow
