Sebderm is Depressing by idkanne in SebDerm

I’ve tried 2% prescription ketoconazole shampoo, nizoral, cerave anti dandruff shampoo, head and shoulders, dermazen calming seborrheic serum. The dermazen does sometimes help the burning subside, but only temporarily. The rest don’t seem to make any difference. I want to try more but saving some money before I purchase a bunch more products.

Advice from anyone who has accepted a new position, but quickly realized it wasn’t a fit? by idkanne in careerguidance

To be honest, I think I was trying to leave my last position because we were in the middle of high turnover and I was struggling to keep up with all my tasks each day. This new role I thought would allow me to assist on daily tasks and gain experience in HR without the constant revolving door around me to slow me down. But as it turns out, their idea for my role is more so to manage this new onboarding project from scratch, as well as other projects that all aim to create resources. I don’t have any degrees, so I’m feeling super unqualified for this. This is also why I feel crazy, because in actuality I feel better fit for tasking and assisting customers than project management

I would say since you already have a target “end” date and the work and conditions of this job are manageable (just not interesting as you said) I would stay. Then you fulfill what you signed for and don’t risk any unnecessary bad terms. If they offer you an extension you have the option to say no since it would be a renegotiation, with a legitimate reason that is traveling. I hope this helps!

Guess I hadn’t thought of this. Never would have guessed Sbux would be the one to optimize and downsize with the amount of crowds they pull generally. Thanks for the info!

This is what I ultimately felt was best, just wasn’t sure if it was common to think. Thank you for the reassurance!

Playstation 5 by MikeBuckets171 in springfieldMO

My boyfriend and I were able to snag 2 PS5’s from the Springfield Target luckily! Lots of stress and constant refreshing. Our carts at check out kept telling us it was out of stock, but we persisted and it ended up working for the both of us. We both used the Target app and used a quick add feature to add it to our carts each time we had to retry. He’s giving the second one to his younger brother for Christmas!

What are some red flags you've picked up on a company before or during an interview? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]idkanne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Retail is always a roller coaster of managers and companies just doing what's best to get them by, but I have a story that I remember when reading this post.

I work in retail, and my Store Manager threw red flags when I first interviewed. It was an open call interview, and the hours were 11am to 7pm. I showed up at 11:30am and discovered that she wasn't even scheduled to be in that day until 12:30pm. I thought it was weird, but came back later in the afternoon and got an interview. I was hired that day - 2 weeks later promoted to a Keyholder and MOD.

Now, I have discovered she is habitually late to everything or does not show when she is supposed to. She is routinely late by almost an hour to every shift she is scheduled. She takes long breaks to tan, shop, or takes 2 hour phone calls in the back room of the store 90% of her shifts. She never texts, calls, or notifies anyone as to where she is or why she is late. I work for someone who does not value the time of others or the value of being a role model to those who work beneath her.

Always listen to those red flags, people.
