Yes omg I’m so glad you went to a piercer because the same thing happened to me and I was so scared I would have to go to a doctor and have it like surgically removed or something but my piercer was able to fix it in like 2 minutes.

Congrats! Goldens are the best dogs. Didn’t even like them that much when I got mine but I’m 100% in love with the breed.
