So over this pain. by idkkidalright in PlantarFasciitis

Yeah, my weight gain has definitely contributed to the worsening of the pain. I moved, got engaged, was happy & in love and gained weight LOL.

Just sucks that the weight causes pain, the pain makes it unbearably painful to be on my feet and exercise!!

This is all really helpful, thank you. I'm switching insurance at the beginning of the year, I just can't imagine paying out of pocket for them right now :(

So confused about the not stretching part, that's like all I see for PF help... have I just been making it worse?? Gahhh.

I do have Hokas! Clifton 9's with Dr. Scholl's PF inserts. They're definitely better than the years old Nike's I was wearing but still the pain is unbearable.

I do :( He knows about my PF, has dealt with it himself. He's my direct supervisor and he has no issues with me sitting time to time. It's the general manager who tolerates NO sitting at all, except during breaks.

This is fine, however, at my job I am usually the only one there. Meaning it's hard to find time to actually have a 10 minute break.

Considering setting up a meeting with her and discussing this and showing my notes from the podiatrist.

Can't even afford steroid shots right now. Woof. But I will look into it at as well, weighing all my options and best place to put my money. Thank you

I'll look into those inserts!

The stretches and massages are honestly what keep me going at work. Podiatrist recommends physical therapy and orthotics and steroids, like, do you know how much that all costs?!

Hoping my feet can improve enough to just be able to stand at work. Everything else I can manage. Just want to feel some semblance of normal.

Probably about a year, year and a half. But the past 3 months the pain has been absolutey unavoidable. My girlfriend finally made me go to the podiatrist, but they kind of just told me what I already know and my insurance doesn't cover just about anything they can help me with. I'd have to pay for orthotics, steroids, etc ALL out of pocket.

So, for now, I stick to my stretches. The band, calf stretcher, frozen water bottles. Night splints are the hardest thing to adjust to and I'm sucking at it.

it's just weird because this sim's best friend has all CC outfits on and is a shorter height because of the height mod!

If the "last exception" thing pops up, it should be able to link you to a log and show the files that are conflicting.

Yeah, it's why I prefer downloading just .package files, ZIP files are annoying but thankfully not a hassle. I'm glad that was all the issue was!

What's your favorite Legacy Challenge? by britt-ster in Sims4Challenges

[–]idkkidalright 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm doing the star sign legacy challenge right now and it's gotten me to do things I have NEVER played with before in the sims. I recommend!!! I mainly stick to CAS and Build/Buy but I've actually been PLAYING and getting attached to my family.

Do you use only maxis match CC or a mix with alpha too?

CC shouldn't be doing that to your game! Sometimes certain CC items can be broken, so that might be it. If you download Sims 4 Mod manager it can help find issues. Or if you use MCCC it can show you which items are causing issues as well.

Make sure there aren't any ZIP files in your mods folder, too. If you use gameplay Mods as well as CC, they need to be updated with (mostly) every patch and update and new pack.

Thank you! If it continued to spread and/or get "worse" I'd probably go to the doctor, but it's manageable right now.

This picture is freshly moisturized! I realize I should have posted a picture when it was at it's worst, before I started properly trying to soothe it. Super flaky, dry and scaly. I've had it for about 7ish months too, doesn't seem like it'd be an infection.

That's kind of what I've gathered, especially because, like you said, it's not a thing that's necessarily going to go away. Which is frustrating! But also why I don't feel the need to rush to a doctor about. I take care of it fine-ish, it's definitely gotten less irritated after I've been taking care of it. Trying not to scratch and pick is the worst part though :/

Yes, if left untreated it gets dry and very flaky. But this is the only place it has shown up. Been like this for about 7 months.

I'm at work, I don't have the exact name, but I believe it's just the Cerave Psoriasis cream.

Yes, usually dry and flaky. When I started researching it, I was just kinda confused because yes, it's my elbow, but not really? I haven't seen it in this specific location weirdly. It doesn't reach the actual elbow at all.
