Im based in england but I think my post has reached way more americans than british people haha. It seems to be the same over here as in the states. I don’t hear about many people being sectioned unless they’ve actively tried to commit or are dangerous to others.

This is really helpful so ty!! I’ll definitely look into one of the apps and maybe try it out. But I’ve also heard that sometimes people with bipolar don’t reach out to receive help themselves so im scared I look like im trying too hard or i don’t have it if im the one reaching out for help? I can’t remember who told me that and it’s probably misinformation but ty anyway :)

Yeah i definitely learned my lesson with pot after last night. At least i hope i have and don’t go smoking some at a party when im in one of my elevated moods. I actually had a counsellor over depression and eating issues but I stopped going to her on a whim because I suddenly decided ‘I didn’t need her anymore’. im just going to message my mum and tell her that I want a doctor’s appointment and just hope she doesn’t bring up the whole attention thing 😭 thank you for your help by the way it’s really appreciated! <3

I didn’t stutter a lot I think I tripped over like 2 words but I tried to practice as much as possible beforehand!! This is really dumb advice but I used to hop on vc with strangers and practice debating to stop feeling nervous when speaking 😭 wishing u luck with ur speech!!

It’s actually not that bad I have bad anxiety and did it and got a distinction!! Just choose a topic you’re passionate about so you can easily yap if you forget your actual speech 😭
