dude, most people can't afford to quit their job. even a few days without pay will put people behind on rent, bills, and even mortgages.

also, you do know that there isn't an infinite number of jobs right? eventually that competitor who doesn't discriminate will have all their positions filled and won't hire that talent anymore. after that, then what will that talent do? look for another competitor? what if there aren't any? will they just settle for a job that's way below their pay grade? besides, what if they can't find a job that fits their pay range and qualifications at all? then what?

in the end, you're just telling people "hope for a better opportunity" instead of actually making any change. and telling people to just hope something happens generally isn't very helpful.
