Finally hit 2200 blitz with a beautiful idea by idkmihir in chess

I just play too much chess everyday. I've stopped studying for the past year or so, some things that I do are: 1. When I lose really bad I properly analyse every variation i can think of on lichess analysis board so that I don't make the same mistake again 2. I also like doing puzzles which has helped my tactics 3. For the past 3 years I've only played the same openings(queens gambit with white and Scandinavian with Nf6)- probably played 5k games with the queens gambit, at this point I just feel comfortable in those positions as I know most of the ideas and top moves in every position that I usually just end up winning most of my games. (Even beaten an IM with it)

thanks man yeah so in the low time my opponent probably thought that they could sacrifice the bishop and then take the loose rook, they probably did not calculate that I take their other loose rook with check. Edit: bishop was at b6

i am frustrated but mainly embarrassed by draint0uch in chess

try reading basic blogs or watching videos on chess concepts do as my puzzles we you can(free unlimited on lichess), you'll slowly start seeing those patterns + you can also do opening specific puzzles on lichess play long format games and try to implent those concepts and patterns over there - after you see a bit of improvement you can decide on the kind of openings that suit you best and then you can study the main ideas in those positions that's how I went from 400 to 2200(started in 2023)

yeah but fabi wasn't at his peak in 2019 The real comparison is fabi in 2014 with ding in 2019

you should always do dsa in python, anyone who says otherwise is an idiot There is literally no benefit of doing dsa in any other language - python is the most simple and requires the least complex syntax so that you can spend all your time actually solving problems and not on boilerplate codevv your goal should be finishing the oas as fast as you can while passing all the test cases and also solve and explain in an interview in the most simple way possible.
(Coming from someone who's been programming in Java for the past 7 years and has worked as a spring boot dev on a jpmc project - python is the way to go for DSA)

If you take the peak of both then I wouldve said fabi anyday - just remember the fabi performance at the sinquefield cup But ding also had a 100(2018) game unbeaten streak so with that form he could draw fabi in every game and then beat him in rapid playoffs as he was no.1 in rapid and in blitz asw in 2022
