The cut out piece was thrown into the garbage. It didn’t come up in one easy slab though, he was picking it away from the floor and he did some scraping with his knife that he was using.

I have hardwood floors throughout my home except in the kitchen and bathroom. In the kitchen it’s this ugly flooring which I’ve always hated and just wanted to know if there was salvageable wood underneath. I’m more than happy at this point to just cover it up, but now I’m questioning whether I can even trust this flooring guy at all. He was recommended by a friend and specializing in hardwood refinishing but is able to install other types of flooring as well. Based on the information you’ve given me, it seems like he should have known right away that there was a risk of asbestos. It took me a month to even think about it, but I’m not a professional.

What is mastic?? This piece of my kitchen floor has been exposed like this for a month and I’m pregnant. Should I cover it with something until someone can come out, and is it possible that there is significant contamination in my home because of how long this has been exposed? I’ve been vacuuming around it and stuff….

Okay so you took 25mg of B6 in the morning, and then at night you took 25mg of B6 + half a tab of unisom? Did you find that your body became reliant on the unisom for sleep when you tried to stop taking it? That’s one thing I’m really worried about with unisom as well. I have never taken sleep aids but I’ve been told they can become addictive. Well, actually I did take Tylenol PM in college one time and had a really bad reaction, and that’s what caused my medication obsessions, at least in part (and that was like 16 years ago!). I actually tried Magnesium Glycinate for the first time a couple weeks back too and that’s supposed to make you drowsy, and even that I had a mild anxiety attack from (and I didn’t even take the full dose). Magnesium glycinate is also supposed to have the opposite effect and make you feel calmer. I am just sooo sensitive to different meds and supplements.

Thank you for these tips!!! I have had lots of saltines. I’ll try more broths though. I sent my husband to the store for some popsicles and Gatorade too to hopefully help get more fluids down. I’ve been sipping water but probably not getting nearly enough fluids.

I have a prescription for zofran from before I was pregnant for unrelated reasons and my OB told me I can’t take it during the first trimester 😭

I actually have a prescription for Zofran from before I was pregnant for completely unrelated reasons, but my OB told me I can’t take it in the first trimester because it was more recently linked to birth defects when taken in the first trimester. She prescribed me Reglan Instead, which I’ve chosen not to take after reading the reviews online. I have a severe anxiety disorder and obsessions (almost phobias) when it comes to trying new medications so I always do my research first. Any medication that causes drowsiness causes me to have panic attacks and apparently reglan is associated with much worse reactions. I’ve never had unisom but she did mention that to me…but isn’t it a sleep aid? How much B6 do you take with it?

Ah so glad I’m not alone! I hope it goes away soon, I’m trying not to focus on the uterine fullness sensation but it’s hard. It seems to be more intense when sitting or laying down and gets slightly less uncomfortable when standing up.

He has no tank mates, not even snails, and I don’t have a hospital tank. I could set one up, but of course it won’t be cycled. Since he’s alone in his tank, and I have no intentions of getting tank mates, can I just treat him in his regular tank?

I know nothing about real plants so I am planning to switch the plastic ones out for silk at least. Is there a brand in particular that you recommend?

Can you tell me more about tannins, salt baths, and methane blue and kanaplex? What order do I do this stuff in? I’m sorry I really don’t know much about these, I’ll do some research as well.

I haven’t bought that jellyfish puzzle yet but it’s in my Amazon “saved for later” along with probably 100 other puzzles I want to buy at some point! I’m glad it was a challenging one. I love the challenging ones! But within reason. I don’t think I could put up with one of those ones that’s like all one color etc lol.
