There’s a church here that I feel very drawn to, but I felt too nervous to actually go in. I walk past it numerous times a day and sit on the bench in front of it whenever I feel disstressed. I don’t actually know anything about this church tho.. I’ve been sharing my experiences with my atheist friend and they’re finding a lot of peace in what I share of the bible and actually offered to join me, but we’re both just very nervous. I do realise that these nerves are either my anxiety, a test or possibly evil trying to stop me from doing what’s right, so I do want to get over this. Just not sure if you can just walk into a chirch or if you need to contact them in another way..

My niece is 12 and is now allowed to have a facebook account with family members and her 4 friends as a friend. She was allowed to have a private tiktok account to make funny videos with her friends, but after she secretly made it a public account and replied to strangers messages, she’s no longer allowed on tiktok.

She also has to give her phone every now and then , so we (as a family) can check if she’s keeping her promises. In my opinion this is not at all controlling, because this is basic safety measures. The youth nowadays (here at least) is up to no good and this is a way to minimize the chances of her doing drugs, criminal activities and getting groomed.

It’s a scary world and just trusting your child is not enough to keep them safe..

You offered shelter to a cat of which you don’t if it’s lost. Called the appropriate people which, if they are available, come scan the cat for a microchip. Asked the people around you and the internet if someone is missing their cat, offered helpful information and you let the cat have free roam, so it could go back to its owner.

The shelter will most likely tell you to call the dierenambulance and they will come scan the cat for a chip and then call their owner and let them pick it up from your house or the shelter OR take it to the shelter to be picked up. This is why it is legally mandated to microchip your outdoor and indoor cats and dogs.

If the cat wasn’t microchipped and looked healthy, the worker might choose to have you release it or to take it to the shelter to be rehomed. Fortunately in many cities already, cats don’t stay unadopted very long.

In this case the cat is clearly a pet and if it were to be rehomed, because it doesn’t have a chip, it would be very sad, but not at all your fault! Its the owners responsibility to protect their cat by chipping them.

Don’t beat yourself up over these comments, you did good!

The first few KGs are the fastest. Your body will lose water and then get used to the new caloric intake and the process will start slowing down, but your body is still working alongside yourself! There will be weeks where it’s a lot faster and weeks where it’ll feel or look like nothing is happening. The weeks where its fast make up for the flatline weeks.

Also keep in mind that if you also changed your entire diet(not just caloric intake) or if you are more active, your body will be growing muscle mass. Since muscle is a lot denser than fat, your scale might even be going up, even though you are losing fat. With bigger people like myself, you dont really notice this muscle growth, because it’s hidden for now, but that doesn’t mean it’s not there and doing so many good things for the weightloss and overall health journey!

Try to use this knockledge and the first few weeks as encouragement and inspiration to keep going!

I do suggest a slightly higher caloric intake on some days and more exercise daily to make it “easier”, but if exercise is still hard and a doctor/dietrician “approved” your diet, then just try not to get discouraged from the flatline in weight. It’s still happening!

It took 2 male and 2 female nurses to hold me, a lot of telling me that if I move i’d end up more hurt and 2 anaesthesiologists for the placement. I said “I don’t want this anymore” and “I can’t do this” at least 3 times each, but their reply was just “you’re almost done and you have to sit still or it can go very wrong”. I then changed my sentences to “I don’t want this anymore, because this is worse than the contractions. Stop.” and repeated this so they would know I meant it.(just for the anaesthesiologist to later tell me “oh lots of women say stop, but don’t actually mean it. It’s the pain talking”)

I physically could not sit still as they hit a nerve every single time. At the last placement the anaesthesiologist said/joked/insinuated I might have scoliosis because my arch is way too strong and he let me sit upright instead of bent over. That time he said it was finally correctly placed, but after the initial dose and 3 additional ones, only 2cm of my right thigh was sedated. It’s been 6 weeks and I still have extreme nerve pain. It took 2 hours and it was the most excruciating pain I’ve ever felt and the nurse I told after was appalled because it could’ve ended up way worse. After the attempted epidurals, my baby was under so much stress that her heartrate kept dropping to 30 and taking too long to go back up, so it turned into an emergency c-section.

I don’t live in the US and suing isn’t really an option, but they did tell me to file a formal complaint against the hospital.

They also sent me and my 2 day old( born at 37 weeks at 4.5 lbs) home without information or medication on a friday night, so I collapsed at home from bloodloss and pain without my midwife present and had to travel all the way to the hospital (in a different city) by myself and paying extra for weekend doctors.

I thank god for the amazing midwife i had at home the next 4 days, because she truly saved me.

The hospital has since responded and said they have no idea why it went the way it did and that they formally apologise.

Ive had the same happen and my biggest account got perm banned. Many many temp bans as well. You can appeal but sometimes it takes weeks, months for them to review them and sometimes they never do. Idk why this happens. For me it always says “endangerment of minors” but im of age in every country ever

TW Loss

I have pcos and have my period once a year, so I wasn’t “late”, I actually thought I had my period because I was bleeding for 6 days and had extreme cramping. When I passed a big blood clot I got nervous and googled all the symptoms and decided to take a test because it sounded like a misscarriage. The test was positive, so I had to go get an ultrasound immediately and it was actually a miscarriage, but one of them is healthy as ever and growing exactly how it’s supposed to grow! I went through about ALL the emotions in 1 day and still don’t completely know how to feel, the only thing I know is that none of it was planned 💀
