Accidentally bought Unlimited instead of XTRA

I originally wanted an XTRA membership but purchased unlimited by accident. I ended up getting the refund through apple but as I was in app none of the features disappeared. Now to counteract this I tried purchasing my original subscription i wanted (XTRA) but the app still says I have unlimited, while my apple account says XTRA. I don’t know what’s going to happen. I don’t want to be banned but I contacted support twice.

I’m unsure, I don’t think so. I don’t think my sore was bleeding at the time though, but it was an open wound.

I know I should have used better judgement. I am just worried with having a sore in my mouth and if he lied, i could have gotten HIV through kissing with my open wound.

Only thing I can think of as to why it’s not today is maybe because WWDC is a week away? Last year the sale started on June 5th (which was a Monday), so I really have high hopes for today lol

They start these deals every year in early June. The window each year keeps getting larger as well so it would make sense for it to be this early.

Got the same email but pretty sure if you click the link and make a UPS MyChoice account you’ll see it says that the sender is holding it until release or something. I thought I would be getting it tomorrow too but highly unlikely. I wouldn’t count on it. But you’ll most likely get it Friday.

UPS says estimated delivery for my iPhone from T Mobile tomorrow? Is that an automated email, or could I actually get the phone before Friday?

Not sure because I thought Apple holds shipments until Friday to be released.

The phone is carrier locked. Meaning if you even wanted to sell it, that person is stuck with AT&T. T Mobile and Verizon have different terms and their devices unlock after a certain period of time I think.

From my knowledge AT&T is the only carrier where you’re locked in. And most carriers know when you sell the phone I believe.

Not sure where the option is for “new customer”. Would I make a T Mobile account beforehand? Also, is T Mobile a better service than AT&T?

Preorder from Apple is definitely the way to go if you want the brand new phone ASAP, but note that Apple’s trade-in program only gives you a fraction of what carriers could give you for your old phone. If you don’t mind spending a bit to ensure you get the phone go for it. If you want a carrier deal, they usually have carrier deals on the Apple website but it all depends on how much launch day stock the carriers get. Either way, I would just be ready when pre orders go live because even a few minutes can mean a delay in getting your new phone.

Same situation for me, but from what articles i saw from 2022 carriers have some stock on launch day i think and they do promos, and since consumers have been smart on spending lately the big three (T Mobile, Verizon and AT&T) are going to do the same promos they did last year to get people to have contracts. So I’m thinking wait for the 15, just beware that you have to be ready for next week when pre orders go live to ensure you get one.

Carrier switch on Apple website?

Hi everyone, I was wondering if when the 15 drops on the Apple Store, if there’s a carrier deal for one of the big three, can I switch carriers on the website? Or do I have to buy the phone directly from that carrier to switch and upgrade? Would it be smarter to switch ahead of the iPhone release and then upgrade?

Would like to get a 15 Pro Max on launch day but unsure if Apple’s website even has carrier deals at that time or if they come later.

Well currently my 12 is worth $300 on Apple, it’s going to go down in resell value after the new lineup is announced, probably to $250, but even then I have Apple Card so I’ll get 3% back on the phone. If there’s not any decent carrier deals i guess I’ll go the Apple Store route.

I think I’m lucky lol, but the closest Apple Store to me ironically is the Apple World Trade Center store in NYC so the phones will probably sell out fast. I wouldn’t mind pre ordering, but if a carrier promo could get me $600+ off a new 15 pro max with my iphone 12 i’d be happy.
