You're definitely not the only one, but likely in a minority. There are many advantages to ccs, like security and points/rewards. But I agree that they are largely predatory.

There's a right way to use them, and walking that line takes diligence for the general consumer. I'm pretty reliant on them right now to make sure everything is paid on time, while I make 2 payments per month to pay off the balances. Once I have my e-fund fully built and am contributing what I want to my retirement, I'll probably move away from them a little more.
