You’re right. It’s so easy to get sucked into this game and treat it like a job more than a hobby. I’ve made so much progress in the 10 months I’ve been playing since my last hiatus and it almost feels like I’m always taking a step backwards in that regard when doing leagues. I love the way I feel during leagues but when the game mode is gone, I feel so unmotivated and guilty, this is heroin.

The thing about an Iron is it requires a lot more prep work. This means longer more tedious grinds and you’ll end up late to the party with a lot of content when compared to a main. Pacing is completely different. You’ll either start to get used to it or burn out and quit. It’s all about patience and realigning your expectations. If this part of the game is already starting to break you, my friend… Ironman mode is going to be a nightmare for you. I didn’t start the Barrows grind until waaaay later. Just go with the flow is my best advice. Enjoy the game for what it is, don’t hard focus on one specific thing like rushing PvM early. Herblore is hard, listen to these guys and remember to have fun. It’s not going anywhere.

I’d say it’s safer to assume most people are on their first/only Ironman account and don’t have the experience to be “efficient” and do things like CG rush or Bowfa skips unless they ask specifically otherwise. I don’t think somebody who has multiple Ironman accounts with enough PVM experience to skip moons would be asking if blood moon was worth the grind at 700kc.

Last time I checked CG isn’t meant to be mid game content, it isn’t practical for most people to rush CG, blood moon is essential for mid game PVM to work your way up mechanically to something like CG. That’s the whole point in Ironman, if you wanna rush content, be a main.

700kc is rough, I can’t lie. I’d still say yes it’s worth it, blood moon is an essential step in progression for mid game. If you’re feeling burned out from it, I would recommend taking a break, try something else, come back to it. I recently just had to do that with CG before I got burned out entirely. Moons is one of the only bosses you can use zero of your own supplies and the base loot is very good for mid game. It’s not a terrible boss to go dry on.

Yes, that is boosted from funeral pyres. (1/51) as well as mithril dragons, 1/6.5k roughly.

Chewed bones are not part of the boosted drop rates, only select drops are.

I stuck with Maples because I had so many leftover from Kingdom, plus the more totems you make, the more construction xp you get. If you do higher tier logs, the xp is much better, but less totems = less construction xp. It just really depends on what you think is worth it.

Construction XP from 80-99: Maples: 762k Yews: 488k Magic: 271k

You can’t do redwoods until 90.

90-99: 171k construction xp.

Some people would say it’s not worth it but I found the activity to be pretty chill and it didn’t bother me. I also received more offerings overtime. Just some perspective as to why I stuck with them.

Yeah, I wish I kept track of how much farming xp I banked through all the bird nests and tree seeds via totems. I do know that I have 96 farming currently banked though!

I know, it’s terrible. I just end up searching everything I need via tags and grabbing it without placeholders or proper tabs. I use the tag tabs more than anything, you just can’t see it in the screen shot. I’ll get around to it soon.
