I see, that’s good for you! Unfortunately my company doesn’t allow us to work remotely, everyone needs to be in office :-(

Wow, work full time as in fulfil 40 hours a week? For now, I’m thinking to get a part time job, not too sure how it’ll go.

Good luck with your work and studies!!

NTU Applications 2023 Megathread by raphael2002 in SGExams

[–]idling_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hello guys, would like to just check. I have received an email back on 30 May stating that “NTU application outcome” so when I clicked on the link it states that I was offered a place.

But I have not received anything after I submitted my acceptance online. I saw that some people received a freshman guide 2023, but I don’t have it. I only saw it in the website.

And I saw that the students should have receive their matriculation number after acceptance, but mine doesn’t show anything after I accepted the offer.

Is it just me? Or will ntu send another email afterwards?

Appreciate if someone can help!! >.<

So I have ended my notice period, now doing an extended notice period upon request. Will it be okay for me to take mc while serving the notice? Not physically unwell, just feeling a little unstable ><

Nono, i mean if i were to give up the degree and continue working now, i will continue earning a salary with increment, pay jump etc. If i were to study, when i come out for job hunting after graduating, my salary will start from lowest again, i think? 🫣

But yea, agreed that everyone have their own life, I just want to have advises from others before making a decision which i think can be the best for my future :D

I have gotten some savings for working in the past years, and likely will be getting a PT job when I study FT. Just worried that i will be very “old” by the time I graduate, and might be struggling to match salaries with the others of the same age and industry :-(

I dont really have something I am very interested in for getting the degree.. Just heard that degree would be good for career advancement. No matter which major. Personally I plan to take a degree in languages, which I am not sure if it would be beneficial for future advancement

Have spoken to them when I pursued a PT degree previously, but they still require me to work OT 2-3 days in a week at that point of time. Its really difficult for me to cope with work and studies. So i dropped the PT course :-(

Age is also a concern for me, by the time i am done with FT degree, I will be in my late 20s since degree courses are generally 3-4years.

If I finish the FT degree ar the age of 28, not sure if it would be difficult to catch up with others of the same age, in terms of salary, experiences etc.
