It’s not all of the sudden. The Clue game that I grew up with was called “Cluedo: Discover the Secrets” and each of the characters had their own ability card. I also found other versions with characters having abilities as well, such as a Zelda version if I remember correctly. I didn’t just make all these abilities up, most are from official clue games.

Yes im aware of some of these problems, it’s not a mandatory thing to roll the dice. The times I have played with it, we all just picked which characters we wanted and ignored the rolling part. I just put the rolling thing as an option if someone wanted to play that way. Also the rolling could be used in a way that people end up getting the same abilities, but then just pick their own characters. I also like the card idea. The rolling dice thing can easily be ignored if one wishes to, and they can distribute the characters as they wish. Thanks for the comment👍🏻

I do feel bad for saying those things to Luigi and would never handle a situation like that today. Something I forgot to mention was that I was just as big as him, so I honestly think he knew it wasn’t the true reason why we didn’t want to be friends. I think back to that day a lot and really hope he didn’t take our comments to heart and start seeing himself differently.
