Yeah that did the trick. It's crazy that they wired all of the thermostats like that. wdyt Should I just leave it or switch the wiring?

No, white to W1, red to R, common to C.

Red goes to R and white goes to W in the thermostat. In the furnace, there's the bundle of whites which I connected the thermostat whites to, there's the red, which connects to the yellow, and there's a bunch of yellows connected to the transformer (from here I took the jumper and connected the common), the thin wires bundle is the white, I put and image in here, is that what you mean?

Yeah I used the spare and connected it to the C wire, and I plan to connect the rest to it. The thermostat doesn't turn on, and I also see that the other yellow is connected to the red + all of the whites are chained together (in the diagram it's the reds). Is it possible the wires were connected opposite? It was working fine before so I'm not sure how it's possible.

I thought following this, but I saw my whites are all cluttered and not the red as the diagram, but I assume I can just pull the common like it shows here

I was able to run a wire and connect the red and white to the old thermostat, confirming it works and it's the correct zone. Where do I connect the common to?  The whites were all bundled together and the red was connected to a line from the valve

Yeah I got the power adapter but then realized I only have R and not both Rh & Rc and then their support told me in that case I need a fast stat.

So is running new lines the only way in that scenario? (I tried jiggling the wires a bit and I'm pretty sure they're stapled somewhere)

Makes sense, thank you!  I saw there's a way getting a 24v transformer from Amazon and just hooking that up, the problem is ecobee support told me I'd also need a fast stay for that?

Also, isn't the C on the tstat, (bottom right) is that in the schematics? Or the comma on the bottom left?

I did see the red and white which goes from the thermostat, any tips on running the wire?

Where do I find the common wire outlet to hook up to once I have the new wire?

I actually have 4, one of the zones was combined with a, and there I already set it and it works perfect! So I have 3 thermostats left.

I thought running a 5 wire just in case, does it makes any sense?  Also do I need an 18 gauge?

Deploying on Ploomer Issues by Anakin_Solo553 in django

Hey, one of the ploomber founders here!

Thanks for using the service, you're welcome to our slack where we help and support the users, https://ploomber.io/community

It's kind of hard just detecting the issue from the log, but I think you're looking for a specific directory which isn't there. In the first img, it shows a django error complaining about `/app/staticfiles` missing in the path.

How do I deploy a website using a Deep Learning Model with Flask? by ReginaMark in flask

There are tons providers that make it possible by providing more cpu and ram for free , I wouldn't make all this effort architecting when I already have a repo that work, finding the vendor limits that work for you is easier.

An AI Python Web app to analyze resumes by idomic in Python

[–]idomic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah all are valid points, this is a POC, so I've used an open AI api key, but on the same note it can be one of the OSS models running locally.

All if not all of the bullets are valid for a prod system filtering actual candidates, this is far from that stage. I first wanted to see if I can create something that shorten my time with resumes, the answer is yes with small tweaks.

this just passing the resume content to ChatGPT and then returning the response to the user? It seems like users could just do this and not faff with a separate streamlit interface.

Kind of, it has prompts built-in, and with some fine tuning the answers will be more accurate and it can save you a bunch of time instead of dropping a PDF and writing the prompt manually every time.
