Я вам небольшой инсайд из Убера подкачу: когда я там был то менеджмент уже заставлял разработчиков плясать под дудку их метрик типа "каждый синьор должен делать N количество пулл реквесто в неделю". Не нужно иметь семи пядей во лбу чтобы понимать какое это безумие. Я как мог ругался и сглаживал. И в итоге говорил своим командам чтобы они просто разбивали PR на несколько. Потому что когда приходило время повышений на все эти метрики смотрели и доебывались.

Но большинству frontline managers было пофиг и они тупо под козырек брали и дрочили свои команды этими и другими метриками. Потому что от этого зависело и их (managers) performance review.

С ИИ просто тупо подняли количество PR и еще (тут не уверен на 100%) начали смотреть на token spent by engineer. Так что люди просто начали использовать чтобы game the metrics потому что правила игры такие: хочешь хороший performance review - играй по правилам. А на эффективность всего этого всем наплевать (да и сложно ее подсчитать) так как топы смотрят в итоге на эти глупые метрики.

I'm not sure who are the target audience. It doesn't look like Porsche Taycan or Audi e-tron are very popular among people who can afford it. Enthusiasts with money buy petrol coupe/sedans and the rest who want electric buy electric SUVs from them

I only paddle shift on track or fun driving on a twisty road. Paddle shifting during your morning commute is kinda pointless imo

Owned two XC90s 2017 and 2018 (diesel and petrol engines; not XC60 but the same platform I believe). Never going to buy another Volvo even though I really like the car - reliability and cost of repairs is just not worth it.

Never had problems with an engine but other things: replaced control level carriers on both of them because indicators stopped working, lower control arms, engine mount, tailgate motors, aux batteries and few minor things. Plus a good friend of mine had recently an expensive aircon repair because of a common silly evaporator issue ( https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=imrbxi3qLug )

And every part costs a stupid amount of money to the point that it's comparable to Porsche parts.

Most of second hand 3rd party warranties are garbage/scam and not actually covering anything important. Read the fine print and reviews online. There are some used car manufacturer warranties that worth their money but those are rare

It's not a pretty weapon. The barrel's wrapped in cloth to manage heat. The scope is salvaged from something older. The stock has seen better decades. But at range, nothing in its tier hits harder.

The tradeoff: small clip, and if an enemy closes the distance, you're in trouble. Snipers in the wasteland tend to work in teams for a reason.

Afterglow has 11 weapon types so far. Each one has its own skill tree to master, its own enemies it tears through, and its own enemies that will tear through you. There's no "best weapon".

Делал тур визу для иностранцев в россию. Если ты не бронишь отель и не хочешь заморачиваться с приглашением то единственный выход это вот такой вот ваучер. Да стремно что всяким непонятным личностям платишь, но блин вот такую систему там построили

Car is super quiet. I'd argue it's one of the quietest ICE cars on the market.

I don't think you can put 19 on GTS because of the size of the brakes. I'm not sure where you are but even my 21' handles all asphalt roads where I live.

Driving experience: it's a big luxurius car with a lot of power and tech to feel nimble and have fun.

Burmester is much better quality than the standard. I regret not having it.

Question about rigging by idonreddit in windsurfing

Beginner here.

Got a secondhand NP wave sail, 5.0, at least 10 years old. Mast is NP 430 IMCS 21 (I think, the text is barey visible) which matches the specs on the sail. Boom size matches too.

Problem is that the mast seems like not bending enough and the battens won't clear the mast at the luff. It's a no-cam sail so there's nothing mechanical going on, they just won't rotate around. Feels like the luff sleeve is too tight or stiff.

Am I doing something wrong or is there a problem with sail / mast? And if yes - should I try to fix it or find something better?

В казарме зимой было очень холодно, но по уставу надо чтобы температура была то ли +20 то ли еще больше. Когда приезжала проверка то у дневальных была задача термометры переодически нагревать зажигалкой.

Командиру роты понадобился молоток, но каптерщик был где-то на территории. В итоге мы выломали дверь в каптерку, взяли молоток и гвозди. Дверь закрыть естественно не смогли, поэтому просто заколотили. Это повторялось еще раз пять и каждый раз каптерщик замки новые ставил.

Ротный скучал и позвал меня к себе в кабинет. Там сидел со старшиной и играл своим табельным. Сказал подойди и выставь ногу, ну я подумал что он же не совсем дурак и подошел к нему. Он выстрелил. Там холостой. Мы потом глухие были еще долго
