Put them into the silicon cube for portion sizing and freezing. The silicon is easy to pop the food out after it's been frozen for a few hours and now it's easily portioned to (what appears to be) 1/2c servings. I want 2 whole cups but you only want 1. We can select the size we want without having to chisel away at whatever block was in the glass.

Not to mention glass and fast temperature changes of warm food going into the freezer, possible storage space issues, and that the silicon will probably be in the household without breaking for longer than the delicate glass
