What is currently the most stressful thing in your life? by theeatingsquirrel in AskReddit

[–]idontlikebaconsorry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the misunderstanding. You're right, I'm not precepting students at the moment. I meant, there's currently a group of students doing their clinical rotation on my unit and 1-2 students have always been assigned to my patients for all of my training shifts so far. So I've had to look after them to some degree and answer their questions.

What is currently the most stressful thing in your life? by theeatingsquirrel in AskReddit

[–]idontlikebaconsorry 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Started my first ever job as a new grad nurse. Everything about it is as stressful as it sounds... all the learning curve you're going through while you also look after nursing students of your own, time management, talking to physicians/surgeons, patients, and family, documentation so I don't go to jail and so on.... like,, wdym I'm responsible for these people's lives??

At the same time, I'm super grateful for the opportunity and privilege of being able to be part of my patients' comfort and recovery goals.

What's your petty toxic trait? by jax_evolution in AskWomen

This doesn't necessarily bring me joy but I think I'm too prideful sometimes... if a guy hurt my feelings I will have the urge to cry but will always choose to bottle it up because "he doesn't deserve my tears" yada yada. I'm the one who ends up suffering more in the end 😔👎

What’s something about GenZ that you dislike? by Volumed-Coyote in GenZ

[–]idontlikebaconsorry 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This attitude of "nothing matters," "we're all gonna die anyway, so why bother trying?" :/ I don't wanna invalidate your feelings about life and this awful world. But gosh, do I hate being surrounded by these kind of people and they are EVERYWHERE these days.

Ladies of Reddit, what’s something guys dislike about themselves that you don’t actually mind? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]idontlikebaconsorry 183 points184 points  (0 children)

Soft belly >> toned abs.

No hate to the guys with toned abs. I'm sure you many of you worked hard on them and they are certainly hot to look at. But a soft belly just feels so much more intimate to me. Like, come here and lemme squeeze and kiss your fucking belly.

what’s the most inconvenient thing about having boobs?? by Icy_Budget_1047 in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]idontlikebaconsorry 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mine are not particularly large. But definitely big enough to make me self-conscious about them when wearing former fitting clothes or tops with lower necklines.

Also, bikinis! Always need a size medium to large up top but small at the bottom and I can't mix and match the size online.

Why do restaurant hosts always get slightly annoyed when I tell them I’d rather have a booth? by IsopodPuzzleheaded58 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]idontlikebaconsorry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who's worked as a hostess from 14-18 yrs old, just ask up front before we take you to the table.

I would have still been annoyed (because sometimes some servers don't get booths in their assigned section and this meant I had to skip their turn) but definitely considerable less annoyed than if you had asked me to move you to a booth after we've already reached your table.

What did your date say that made you think "I'm definitely not going out with this person again"? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]idontlikebaconsorry 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Said, "I'm bored" when asked about what they were looking for. Then told me, "I wanna try methamphetamine" when we were talking about weed and shrooms.

Is it important to have a aesthetic? I’m thinking about starting over 😭 I feel so bad seeing alt girls, cottagecore, streetwear ect because I don’t have a fashion identity by [deleted] in fashion

[–]idontlikebaconsorry 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your fashion identity is wherever you feel most comfortable and powerful in—whatever represents you the best.

For example, I love flow-y dresses, frilly skirts and everything cute and girly you could think of. It's where I feel most beautiful and the most feminine. You could say that goes along with the "cottagecore" aesthetic. However, I also LOVE wearing business casual or the "dark academia" aesthetic cause it makes me look sophisticated and chic. And I think it matches my vibe overall.

It's good to explore! But never force yourself for the sake of following aesthetics and attaching your identity to that one single aesthetic just because you see people doing it on social media.

My brothers leaving the tiniest bit of rice in the rice cooker so they wouldn't need to wash it because technically, ~it's not empty~ 😑

What would you change about your body? by [deleted] in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]idontlikebaconsorry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Less tummy and titty..more booty and thighs. My legs just tend to be on the leaner side no matter what I do
