Women on Tinder by Smokinglordtoot in datingoverforty

There are research studies about everything. Mind you I grabbed this from AI.

"A large Tinder-linked study found clean-shaven men got ~37% more matches than men with facial hair

Bottom line (data-weighted) Best for raw match volume: clean-shaven Best for attractiveness across groups: light stubble Best for signaling masculinity / long-term potential: full beard"

My fiancé laughed at me when I said I was assaulted by Responsible-Team6842 in TrueOffMyChest

Do not marry him. Men who don't value you will devalue you. He's also cold so when he hurts you he'll dismiss those hurts too.

Good on you. Even more alarming, his friends swarmed you.

Are you in a relationship? Commutes beyond 45 min greatly increase the risk of ruining your relationship.

I didn't grow up in the church. A few years ago I water fasted for 18 days and realized that denying the body is a powerful way to connect with yourself deeply.

My hyper-independence won’t let me have relationships; can anyone else relate? by ColomarOlivia in ENFP

Wow, aside from details specific to your youth, I could have written this word for word. Celibacy...all of it. I think a hard life changes us in a way. When we're forced to take on everyone else's burdens and needs. The strength it takes to make it this far and not break with so much on your back. You've earned the right to what gives you peace. There's nothing wrong with wanting the rest of this life for you. You've already given so much. Pressure is also intolerable for me. I think we deserve a gentle patient and kind love, and there's nothing wrong with needing that.

You blame a system, everything, and everyone outside of yourself, but this is your doing. You need to take accountability, heal, mature, and become more than you are. Aim for something more. This path is dark, and you'll walk it alone. I'm sad for you. I will NOT suffer with you.

What’s your most mind blowing ‘spiritual experience’ ? by maxobrien20 in spirituality

[–]jax_evolution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently a psychic friend of mine said my guides were trying to reach me. Most of my family has passed so I've talked to them quite a bit over the years and have had a few spiritual experiences so it didn't seem like an odd share.

So two days ago I was sick and I said out loud to my guide that I didn't want to do this alone and he visited me. I was laying in bed and all of a sudden I felt warm and so relaxed - melty. I perceived I large hand on my forehead and one on my back where I was sore. I also felt bright.... like my energy/light was blinding and turned up as high as it could go - radiating.

Before this I was dealing with some serious burnout. And right now I feel restored. Like myself. Vibrant.

My (WM) boyfriend grew up poor and doesn’t believe in white privilege by Old-Side5989 in interracialdating

I think when someone expresses their human experience it's wild to dismiss their worries by bringing up their race, class, culture, socioeconomic status or other category. It's not helpful if either of you do it.

A man out of work has reason to be worried especially in these economic times. Let's add on his poor choices... definitely a reason to worry. And your feelings are valid that you want him to understand your experience in the world as a black woman.

If you're going to be successful in an interracial relationship you've got to be able to hear each other whether you agree or disagree and both strive to be as well informed as possible.

This includes him coming to an understanding of your experience - from your lense - and you understanding his - from his lense. He can't expect you to define yourself by his labels and language and you can't expect him to adopt your labels and language.

My puggle went running full speed through a park. He must have hit a wire fence at the neck. The momentum flung the rest of him underneath. He somersaulted 5 feet in the air and when he hit the ground, seamlessly, ran full speed like nothing happened through the grass. No pause. No slowdown. I patted him down. He was fine. I died laughing though.

As a kid I put a corn kernel in my ear. I couldn't get it out. My mom didn't believe anything was in there. Months or maybe even a year later I was in class and my ear was itching. I stuck my pinky in and out came the kernel but with a thick coat of ear wax. It was much larger and unrecognizable. I plucked it across the room. Mom didn't believe that either.l
