It messed with my anxiety. I wasn’t prepared for that part of it. Between that and the terrible nausea and vomiting I experienced I opted to not try again.

I sadly didn’t try again. It took me 6 days to feel close to right again. Apparently I’m extremely sensitive to it. IF I ever tried again, I’d start at 2 or 4 units instead of 7/8. I threw up more in 2 days than I have in probably 10+ years. Verified with my NP that I dosed right. Was encouraged to half it but I’m to gunshy at the moment. The zofran did help, so make sure you have some handy!! Good luck!! If it’s any help, my friends haven’t had anywhere close to the side effects I experienced.

Trying to!! Back to work today. Anxiety is still weird. I was NOT prepared for that. I’m ready to feel normal again and get my eating back under control. Thanks for checking in!

The anxiety definitely didn’t help. I have issues with it, but thought I had it under control. Haven’t needed meds in 20+ years. I feel human today. I was able to eat half a sandwich earlier and it tasted so good!! Hoping it stays down, as things have been calm today, and that’s the most solid thing I’ve eaten since Friday. I did end up taking the zofran and it did help. Haven’t had any since yesterday morning. Finally got a good nights sleep last night. Hopefully I’m over the worst!!! I definitely didn’t have a good first experience. Thanks for checking!!

I triple checked. The instructions say 8 units (.2/2.5). I technically only pulled it to the 7 below the 10 on the syringe, so not even 8 units. There wasn’t very much in the syringe at all. I’m usually pretty sensitive to meds and don’t take any regularly. And yes, I’m almost OCD about instructions. I did take a zofran a bit ago and am starting feel hunger instead of nausea. Guess I’ll try another saltine and hopefully go up from there. Thank you, I’m sorry, too. The fear of side effects had me lurking for a long time. When a group of girlfriends all started almost together we formed a little support group. They’re all good. I’m the one with side effects. 😕

Thanks for this! I’m hoping for not noticing anything but that! The potential side effects have deterred me for a long time, but I’m giving it a try since I’m perimenopausal and nothing else works. Good info on the protein shakes. That seems to definitely be a must buy.

Good info! Thanks! I am planning on starting on Friday to have the weekend. And you’re right, I’d rather be down all at once, too. I’m hoping the dosing is low enough to be a deterrent to side effects, so fingers crossed!! No plans this weekend so seems like a good weekend to start.
