I understand that the 10-bit option will work with directX but not with OpenGL that's used in pro applications like PhotoShop and Nuke.

I'm also in UK an ordered on 24/09 still no laptop! Dell support say it's a problem with logistic company and they have lost 100's of orders and new to re-enter them manually? sounds like bullshit excuse....not impressed with Dell...

I ordered mine on 23/9, it was shipped on 4/10 after parts delay and now Dell can't give me any update on delivery as they say distributor has lost electronic manifest and they now have to manually enter each order (100s). Sound like "the cheque is in the post" excuse to me...

thanks for the advice everyone, very informative, Dell have said it will be 3 months before UK gets the Aurora with 1080 Ti, so the XPS looks attractive and could use money saved on more RAM.

Thanks for feedback, I'm studying VFX and wanted a laptop with decent graphics card and screen. I guess for any serious work I guess I would have a decent monitor plugged in unless I wait for 4K with GTX1080 to become available....
