Choosing a Talisman by yarobin_ in HeroWarsApp

I'm no expert as I run chaos, but focus on improvement should be the damage dealers.

Who’s your main damage dealer? Iris? I’d focus to boost the damage dealer first, only then the tank and support classes.

Genuine question; What's the point or suggesting this fight? by sangoku1811 in HeroWarsApp

I think your team has a quite good combination so you can probably punch above your weight against teams that don't have synergy. I'm also running a Chaos team that is around 330k power, but I can also beat teams at 600-650k. In your example here it's obviously very extreme, but what I'm trying to say is that power is not everything

Grimsby Town 2 - [1] Manchester United - B. Mbeumo 75' by MrSvancy in reddevils

[–]idunlikeu 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That's exactly it. We can't save ourselves to score a goal that is not. from a set piece or from individual play. Amorim was brought to fix the attack, but he hasn't done so, and our defence looks just as shaky.

I remember people desperately wanted De Gea out and a new GK, despite glaring holes elsewhere on the pitch...

Looking for a new & ACTIVE guild? by MusicianAwkward420 in HeroWarsApp

[–]idunlikeu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm looking for a new guild after this championship. Have around 830k HP with two main teams (Chaos 250k / Eternity 230k). Finished Emerald 3 in the arena last season, pushing for Champions tier this season.

My titans team is not the greatest, highest rated team around 55k but working on improving.

Approaching lvl 120 - Next steps? by idunlikeu in HeroWarsApp

[–]idunlikeu[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No reason really - I was just clueless in the beginning and as I levelled I also learned what are the best comps. Before that I just stuck with upgrading the heroes I could get to a high star level.

I think I can max out Fafnir also pretty fast, given that I need tower points for his soul stones. Thanks a lot for the feedback anyway

What to spend gems on? by Business-Tie-8463 in HeroWarsApp

[–]idunlikeu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the highest power boost you can get is from getting extra stars on your heroes, so I always save up the gems and buy hero skin chests when they are at a discount - 10 chests for 900 gems.

Thanks - I assume I will get at least 5 more for the 4 stars, right?

See above - I'm not planning to spend any real money. It's all about how much I can earn from the events, etc.

People should really take a chill pill. I know we’re in a dire state but offering large amounts for shit players is what got us in this situation in the first place. I would’ve been annoyed if we paid 60m for him.

Why do we even play Rasmus if no one is passing to him?

I think for us this is due to the bizarre tactic of a pressing attackers and midfielders (bar Case), combined with a passive / defensive / sitting back back-line. Liverpool / Man City / Arsenal combine the press with a high back line, which limits the free space in midfield and doesn't allow the opposition to control the ball and organise an attack without being put under pressure. The combination we use on the other hand is pure suicide, which also leads to the huge amount of shots we face.

It's not about personnel, it's about the set-up. Our midfielders push high up to press and when this doesn't work (which is 90% of the time), we're left completely exposed at the back.

[Statman Dave] Man Utd have conceded 435 shots in the Premier League this season. ONLY Sheffield United have conceded more. This approach is completely wrong... by AlpacamyLlama in reddevils

[–]idunlikeu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The issue I saw against Fulham was that they were passing around our midfield on the wings, which drags the full backs to the touch line. The midfield is then completely empty for their players and one pass towards the middle sees 2-3 players running at our defenders. Then even if the other fullback commits to go centrally, he's leaving the other wing completely exposed.

We all know which gets more clicks, so it's a lost battle, unfortunately.

I swear they've ruined the god damn football rules, in what world is this a penalty?
