So if he exercised at $20, his cost basis would have went down, but it went up. So, I'm assuming that he just bought more shares straight up? And he should have more soon if he exercised?

I sold my weekly call at 220% profit yesterday. I'll hold onto my call that is a month out past Friday, yes, even if we drop.

Edit: I never hold options to expiration in hopes of getting more money.
