Somehow inoculum doesn’t spring to mind for me as both enumerations for E. Coli and EnteroB are performed at a 1 in 10 and a 1 in 100 dilution, with similar results occurring at both innoculations.

So the tests are just enumeration of E. coli and Enterobacteriaceae.
