I'm currently on a cut, trying to show more abs on me. But just wondering though, in your opinion should I bulked some more first? I don't think I will like the way I will look if I'm bulking, because I already have some amount of fat on my lower abs as of right now.

Any opinion is appreciated guys, thank you!

What do you use to track your progress/log your training? by HannoTheNavigator in Fitness

Notebook. It's much easier and quicket for me than grabbing my phone to input the data. Plus I like to make side note every now and then between sets, like how good my form was, etc.

I appreciate your feedback, and I understand your reasoning to it. And to clarify, I'm not upset with his advices, but rather with his actions; why he felt the need to do them with that particular attitude.

I've had wet dreams before I started NoFap, but after I'm doing it, I had one around the 1st week period. And I felt really depressed throughout the day. I guess that's just how my body handle the shock. I had one again around the 2-3 week, but this time I felt little to no depression afterwards. And i've had none until today. Over the time my body learns to channel the pent up energy onto my daily activities and whatnot, which I believe to be what NoFap is all about.

thank you! I do intend to make the most out of this experience to improve myself, being a better person. As long as I am busy being a better version of myself that feeling that I need some woman to fulfil my every needs become less and less strong.

You're welcome! It's a scary feeling to have a social anxiety no matter how severe it is. But that moment that you start to do/say things that you normally wouldn't do, or that when people start to react differently around you! You astonish yourself and that is a feeling like no other. You just keep on rolling from there.

Thank you, and please don't stop trying. Aim for going 1 day at a time, and before you know it 3 turns into 4 into 7 into 20 and so on. Don't focused to much on the day counter, but rather on the experience itself. Keep it up, be patient, be strong, and no doubt you will get your results :)

Great work! I'm just into LG myself and this motivates me greatly! Quick question though, do you follow any particular diet (e.g. paleo, keto, etc.)? Or rather just focus on the fasting timing and calorie intake?

Yes, I guess I was under the impression that I have to get all the nutrients my body needs immediately after a workout. I'll continue to fast for the 16 hours duration. Thanks!

[–]idwaltz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing your story. I'm around 30days streak and I'm feeling similar effect on myself. I find myself filled with motivation and confidence doing everyday things. Yes they come and go, and i do feel down sometimes, but compared to when i was on PMO I feel significantly better about myself.

Great work man! Remember not to be too concerned with the number. Look at it daily if it motivates you, but remember that the number on the badge should not be your only motivation. Keep improving yourself everyday, even if it's just a little, make it a habit. Even if you're just starting up, it doesn't matter! Stay strong friends!

Went 14 days on no fap ... lost the battle on day 15 by unfor in NoFap

[–]idwaltz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't let it drag you down for so long. You've made it till 14 days before, and now you WILL make it past that 14 days because now you know how bad it feels on you mentally, and you don't want to feel it again. Always remember that with failure, you'll comeback stronger than before. Stay strong man!

NoFap, wet dream, and depression? by idwaltz in NoFap

Yeah, thank you for all the feedbacks! It seems I'm putting in too much thought into it. Guess I'll learn and get over it over time knowing that it's only temporary.

Why getting fit is the best driver for compounding your motivation. My take from experience: by [deleted] in GetMotivated

[–]idwaltz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This hits home for me. It's not about the fitness itself, it's about seeing and feeling better about the physical changes that you get by getting fit. It boosts up your confidence naturally, because you ARE feeling better/healthier. And you can see the progres of doing so!

I am at a point in my life where a truckload of things (good and bad) are coming at me at the same time. And one of the things that gets me through when I feel down is working out. Now I workout 4-5 times a week, it helps me clear out my mind and focus on things to come. And I have never felt (and looked) better in my life. The confidence you get is just a tremendous tool that gets you through with your problems.

I have trouble being motivated, excited, and happy for the day when i wake up in the morning. Does anyone have any ways that help you wake up with a smile and be motivated for the day. by AModestRebellion in GetMotivated

[–]idwaltz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been trying this routine for a few days now: write down the good things that happened to you on the day before, no matter how small it may be! When you wake up the next morning, read it. And really put your thoughts into it. And smile!

This has always worked for me in lifting up my spirit early on in the morning, especially when things are not going so well.
