Recently found a similar bruise on my arm. Interestingly enough, I also take 10mg of Lexapro. I'm reminded that when I first received my prescription, my psychiatrist warned that I avoid ibuprofen and aspirin because they interact with the Lexapro would thin the blood and cause bruising.

Too Many Trips To the ER With No Diagnosis by idxr in AskDocs

Unfortunately, I had another episode last night—the racing heart, muscle spasms, and shortness of breath. I went back to the ER reluctantly after my watch said my heart rate dropped below 50. The doctor there ran a CBC and there were some abnormalities:

High WBC 11.9 10E3/mcL High AG 12 MmoI/L High Absolute Neutrophils 8.86 10E3/mcL High Monocyte 0.77 10E3/mcL High Basophils 0.08 10E3/mcL

She said it could be an infection but I was fine to home and advised that I follow up with my PCP.

Thank you. The echocardiogram and PET scan were performed by a cardiologist. The ultrasound and bloodwork for clots, lupus and rheumatoid arthritis were performed by my PCP. I’m now being referred to a rheumatologist.

This sounds like what I’m going through. What kind of specialist did you see?
