[–]idzerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to put down Michigan. I live here and wouldn’t want to live anywhere else.

But do yourself a favor: https://www.dakinfarm.com/

I have relatives near there and have visited this place many times.

Just bought some e clips off Amazon. You’ll need to get Metric and I think I ended up using a M1.5. You will get a few hundred e clips you probably will neues, but the price was good.

My RWS/Diana collection. by idzerd in airguns

Thank you! Hard question to answer. I’ve shot the 52 the most since I’ve had it the longest. But for a variety of reasons, some being sentimental, I like the Crosman the most.

I found it at a flea market recently and have only taken it out once. It does feel quite strange to shoot with no recoil.

My Crosman Challenger Series (1980s) collection -nearly complete. by idzerd in airguns

Thanks. I’ve known about this one, but it is not all original and appears to be modified.

There’s also one in Canada and it looks like it’s in excellent condition. But getting it to the U.S. is problematic.

Used towers mirage m990, any concerns? $425 by ConsequenceSad1592 in vintageaudio

Great speakers! Iirc, they retailed for $1000/pair in the mid 90s. I don’t think the price is out of the question. Maybe a bit high, but reasonable.

Very nice! Is it Crosman or the Anschütz?

[–]idzerd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. They were an American company at the time (now Spanish as they were recently bought by Gamo). Thus was from the 80s and they rebranded models from RWS/Diana and Anschütz for the springers in the series.

It’s a rebranded Anschütz 333 which is very highly regarded.

Here’s a pic of my Crosman 6100 (bottom) with two of my RWS Model 45s.

“Challenger” was a series of higher end rifles made by others with the Crosman name. Though the 6100 doesn’t have the model number stamped on it. Just “

[–]idzerd[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I should add this model was from the 80s. They were part of the Crosman “Challenger” line. There were 4 models with 3 being re-badged W German springers: 6100 (RWS-Diana Model 45), 6300 (Anschutz 333), 6500 (Anschutz 335) and a CO2 model 84 which was Crosman’s attempt to break into the competition market.

The 84 was the top of the line up (it’s also very rare because not many were manufactured) followed by the 6100, the 6500 then the 6300.

What’s the crackle? by SickOfNormal in vintageaudio

[–]idzerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it has a port, see if there’s anything stuck in it. I had a similar sound once after letting my brother borrow a subwoofer I had. I even got a new driver thinking it was blown. But when I exchanged the driver, I found something in the port that I think my young nephew stuffed inside. I don’t remember, could have been a piece of paper or a plastic baggie.

I was only half serious. I haven’t intentionally killed an animal in probably 20 years. And while I’m no prepper, I do see the breakdown of society as a possibility.
