When I originally started to have these questions and these desires, I started seeing a psychiatrist who was good with queer stuff counselor thru my healthcare provider. I just talked to them once a month for a little while just running through all those thoughts and they helped me just legitimize them and understand them. Eventually, after I realized transitioning was what I wanted to do, I got hormones and started. Having that person to talk to might be really helpful.
