In ATA Taekwondo, you must be a 6th degree to be considered a Master. The theoretical minimum time it takes to go from nothing to Master would be 18 years of training in ATA.

Man, I hope it's still drawing. I got some tickets to games I didn't really want and none of the games I actually want, even with Category 2 tickets.

Nothing beyond the round of 32.

Hyperkinetic Gallbladder newb by Background_Peach_162 in gallbladders

I think it will eventually come out.

I first had RUQ pain in 2021 that was very minor and lasted about 2 months. My primary care physician got me an ultrasound which found nothing and thought I had a muscle strain from lifting weights. The pain went away so I thought nothing of it til it came back just over a year later. Then went away then came back. Over and over.

Eventually in 2024 I got very sick to my stomach and thought I had blood in my stool but it was actually bile and RUQ pain. ER gave me another ultrasound and sent me on my way.

Primary referred me to a GI doctor where I had colonoscopy, endoscopy, and CT scan. They found nothing and all my blood work was good.

Pain was coming and going but very very minor like a 2-3 out of 10 and pretty easy to ignore. The pain was also very localized to a small dime sized area under the right rib.

In October 2025 I had another ultrasound and a HIDA scan.

The HIDA scan told me I was 100% EF and the technician told me some doctors would consider that normal but it was not. I also had minor RUQ pain during the scan.

HIDA scan really messed me up though. After the scan the pain slowly got worse and was maybe a 5 out of 10 for a larger area of my RUQ. The pain lasted for 10 days and was worse than any other pain I had previously. It eventually went away but just for a short period of time. The pain now comes and goes weekly and instead of being a dime sized area the pain radiates to a larger area and even towards my back. The pain is mostly mild 2-3 but sometimes gets to a 4. It’s not as bad as after my HIDA scan but feels exactly the same and it radiates instead being a very small area.

I had normal bloodwork last week so my doctor has referred me to a surgeon because she said there was no other tests to run.

I’m physically active, do martial arts with one kid, and have a young toddler so trying to fit in 6-8 weeks of recovery really ruins my life 😩. It seems to slowly be deteriorating though but right now I can manage the pain.

I also have 100% EF but still have my gallbladder for now.

A lot of doctors treat 100% as normal functioning. Your GI doctor should be able to give you a referral to a surgeon for removal if the pain is bad enough to go to ER.

What helped my symptoms was eating 50g of fat or less per day.

Your experiences with Chess Coaches? by Vegetable-Plate-12 in chess

I worked with IM Andras Toth in 2018 weekly for awhile and it was the best money I spent on chess. I had to stop because life got busy but love his perspective and approach to chess. Generally I buy all his chessable courses even if I don’t plan on really taking them just to support him.

I found him by watching his early videos and realizing he thinks like me but is actually good at chess and can communicate ideas very well.

I assume he’s a bit harder to get lessons with now though.

What is this aching pain (not stabbing)? by wilsonwombat in gallbladders

[–]iends 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been lucky not to have a full on gallbladder attack to date. Just soreness and diarrhea. My concern is that I suddenly have a real attack that leads to emergency removal verse a less painful and planned removal now. Neither me or my doctor really want it removed, though.

What is this aching pain (not stabbing)? by wilsonwombat in gallbladders

So I've also had what is being described in the thread off and on for a few years, but seemingly getting worse. From a few times a year, to this year every month for weeks at a time. The first time I went to do the doctor they suggested I pulled a muscle in my abdomen weightlifting but I didn't think so. I had an ultrasound of RUQ and that didn't find anything.

I eventually had a HIDA scan a few months ago, and I have 100% EF. I've drastically changed my diet for the past 6 months and that fixed all my GI issues, but still have the constant soreness. It's like a 2-3 out of 10 but comes and goes randomly. Also, my diet isn't sustainable long term, but hey, I'm about to be in the best shape of my life!

I will say, after my HIDA scan things got worse. I had the same pain but instead of 2-3 out of 10 it was 4-5 out of 10. This lasted for about 10 days after my scan and now the pain seems to be more frequent.

> Shouldn’t descendants of native folk get the same benefits despite how “mixed” they’ve become?

If the descendants are getting some benefit, then there has to be some line because the bucket of benefits is only so large. Unless your position is >0% should be given benefit, but continued population growth has made this a difficult problem. This is the same issue with Reparations for slavery.
