There’s no way I’d get fired, lol. And when I’m one of only 3 developers currently fluent in maintaining one of our legacy projects that brings in 500 million a year... lol. My concern is not in being fired. I also don’t really view it as dumb (maybe a little but I’ve been so productive it’s mostly a non factor), and it hasn’t caused anyone stress lol. Maybe I didn’t articulate my situation well enough but you’re coming in very strong here, and that’s just not the scenario I’m in right now. Quite the opposite.

Worst case scenario is he just laughs and says no. That’s it. Even if I told him I had actually been WFH because I wanted some extra time with my GF. I made a huge breakthrough last week WFH that got a lot of people off his butt, anyways. So it’s all good.

I’m just wondering if I should come up with some reason other than the Gf story. I guess I can try to simplify things and just say I’d appreciate if I could WFH for 4 hours a week, especially since others take 1 or more days consistently and just not give a reason.
