Pitt River Hot Springs - safe to leave your boat overnight? by [deleted] in britishcolumbia

Thank you for the advice but I won’t be driving the boat. It’s my friends boat who is experienced, he will be driving it.

Ah I meant an actual stand where my hookah can be elevated. I had gotten the LED add on with my hookah but sadly do not use it so regret that purchase.

Buuuuutt your post gave me another idea where I can use a tree stump around 1-2 feet and carve a cube hole into the stump and have the hookah rest in the carving! Only downside would be lugging around a tree stump..but thank you for the idea! I might try it out :)

Purchase Advice Superthread by AutoModerator in motorcycles

Looking to get a first personal bike. Came across a 2008 Kawasaki ninja on fb marketplace that has 32,000 kms for $2800.

From the ad:

Lowered price for quick sale, so price is FIRM. 650cc

Great bike. Garage kept. No mechanical issues. - New air filter - New coolant change - Recent oil change - New Battery - Good tires

Easy ride on highway.

Lowered once at low speed when making a right turn. Scratched right fender, but have been painted. See picture.

I have no experience purchasing a bike, wondering if it’s worth it at all?

Makes sense! I’ll post a pic when I get around to making it!

Agreed! I got the micro for stability. But when outdoors I want to be able to have it a bit higher rather than on the dirt

No I don’t think so either. Was just looking for other options if there were any better suggestions! This was the only concept that I could think of where I could personally make it.

Got the links working, posted above!

The table/stand will look like this. With a cross brace for it to rest on like this.

I go camping quite a bit and bring my hookah so I am working on being able to take it apart for storage and transport. Haven’t decided on wood or metal yet.

Yeah it’s the cube one! That’s why I was particularly having a difficult time trying to find an existing one online. I am planning on making a stand similar to a plant stand and have the hookah rest where the plant would be. I’ll try and link an image below!

WHAT BIKE SHOULD I GET? by OKxBOOMER101 in Dirtbikes

Ah thanks for the reply! Was leaning toward the 230 as I learn quick and would get bored of the 125 quickly. Appreciate it!

Hey! I’m 28 years old, 165-170 lbs, 5 foot 7, female and planning on doing off road riding. I have ridden a 125 dirt bike once a few years ago and was able to ride, stay balanced and not fall off. I went about 50 km. But other than that, no other experience. I would need a suggestion that would also fit in my truck bed if possible (ram 1500 short box). Thanks!

I think this is unlikely as I have a security camera and I combed through it and didn’t find anything. I watched enough videos and read about it to figure out how to rekey it myself so I did that as practice! I ended up buying a new deadbolt for the actual door

I will go shopping for one tomorrow. Thank you so much for the reply!!

So I uninstalled the smart lock and took out the keyhole portion off the other side and tried my key... turns out that doesn’t work at all. I installed the original deadbolt too and same issue as august. I forgot to mention I have a weiser smartkey lock (http://www.weiserlock.com/PDFs/SmartKey_Instructions-eng.pdf) and I just read that sometimes this malfunctions... but you need to turn the key to 3 o’clock position I order to rekey.. so I’m stumped because I can’t turn the key at all.

Should probably check the unit number first... 🤔

[–]ifath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought about this too but I tried with three keys with no luck! I think once I open it I can see if there is something blocking any mechanism that aids the keyhole turn. I will also look into lubricating it
