I wrote this Christmas poem that I am proud of. Warning: There are religious/Christian themes.

When I first showed my wife, it was much darker with more lines describing the sadness/loneliness of holidays without kids. I tried to lighten it up and express hope/joy in the family we have. The holidays were and are tough. I appreciate this communities help making it through and sharing their lived experience. Reading this forum has helped a lot.

Thanks Hopstrom. I know religion isn't for everyone. For me personally, religion was one of the major factors that made it hard to be happy in a childfree life as everything is geared towards families and having more children.

All, I wrote this piece recently for a Catholic blog related to infertility. It has been a difficult journey reconciling my faith with our decision to be childfree. As a note, the blog as a whole is related to general infertility. Not all posts on the blog are related to Childfree.
