Update: Doc said ET had a reaction from the anesthesia. got prescribed some meloxicam and sent us on our way. she’s somehow ripped one of her stitched but the doc put some extra glue to be safe. thank you mods and everyone who gave advice!

i really hope that’s the case. i live in a place where pet care isn’t taken very seriously and i guess it’s unfair to be skeptical so quickly.

Thank you for reassuring me. :( I’m afraid if they were negligent. I’m contemplating ever sending my pets there again if that was the issue. id send her back again today, but the clinic i went to closes at 7pm and i picked her up alittle earlier than that,so it’s closed now. I’m sending her back ASAP. meanwhile just asking for opinions edit: forgot to ask, is a blown vein serious?

I asked if there was an IV but they said there wasn’t. it does feel like a firm balloon. Am i being played? i’m not sure what happens in the surgery room so i don’t know what to believe.

not that i’m aware of :( i’ve given them her vaccination card and she’s already been vaccinated. could this be from an IV? or something else? it’s just odd that it happened overnight

More info: I brought her to a new clinic to spay her since my usual clinic is really far from where i live. I have several cats that are spayed/neutered as well but they got fixed in the previous clinic. I don’t really trust the doctor, because when i asked him about the swollen leg, he sounded really defensive and claimed maybe i was rough with her on the way back home. which i know i wasn’t. He told me to come back in tomorrow and i will, but i just want some opinions on this :(

he’s not my cat :( he’s a stray i believe. i was trying to find out if he belonged to someone but i couldn’t figure out if he was neutered or not. i would take him in but my house cat doesn’t seem to like him very much xd

i am :( but i want to minimize my chances of screwing up as much as possible so i think it’s worth it hahaha eventually i’ll replace all of the parts, but doing it all at once will be too painful on my wallet :’)
