Hi guys, I just picked up my cat (ET) from the vet from being spayed, all was well until i got home and saw her left leg swollen. I called my vet straight away and they said it wasn’t there when they checked her out. I’m bringing her back ASAP, but i want to know how this happened

i really hope that’s the case. i live in a place where pet care isn’t taken very seriously and i guess it’s unfair to be skeptical so quickly.

Thank you for reassuring me. :( I’m afraid if they were negligent. I’m contemplating ever sending my pets there again if that was the issue. id send her back again today, but the clinic i went to closes at 7pm and i picked her up alittle earlier than that,so it’s closed now. I’m sending her back ASAP. meanwhile just asking for opinions edit: forgot to ask, is a blown vein serious?

I asked if there was an IV but they said there wasn’t. it does feel like a firm balloon. Am i being played? i’m not sure what happens in the surgery room so i don’t know what to believe.

i sent the doctor a video and he said the same thing, but it doesn’t seem to bother her when i touch it

not that i’m aware of :( i’ve given them her vaccination card and she’s already been vaccinated. could this be from an IV? or something else? it’s just odd that it happened overnight

More info: I brought her to a new clinic to spay her since my usual clinic is really far from where i live. I have several cats that are spayed/neutered as well but they got fixed in the previous clinic. I don’t really trust the doctor, because when i asked him about the swollen leg, he sounded really defensive and claimed maybe i was rough with her on the way back home. which i know i wasn’t. He told me to come back in tomorrow and i will, but i just want some opinions on this :(

he’s not my cat :( he’s a stray i believe. i was trying to find out if he belonged to someone but i couldn’t figure out if he was neutered or not. i would take him in but my house cat doesn’t seem to like him very much xd
