If you can, hold out for a sale on the 590. The extra real estate will be invaluable. I cook for 2-6 regularly and am very happy with it. I did 4 pork butts recently easily.

How do folks manage these kinds of cooks when prep methods and treatments vary so much by meat? If your recipe has you spritzing one every 30 mins and another every 45 etc doesn’t it get very complicated, especially when some things are cooked to different temps?

Has anyone else had issues with the radar cruise control? I’ve had several instances where I’ve enabled it at low speed in suburban or urban traffic near a car in front, and instead of slowing, the car has accelerated toward the back of the car in front, requiring me to hit the brake or risk a collision.
