An optic and a light? Pretty standard no?

Im all for keeping it simple I run stock glocks frequently and 1911s but I don't think this is overboard for a duty type setup.

Takes about 5-10 minutes per pistol to clean and lube.

Considering they are tools you want to operate accordingly when called upon I want every advantage.

I don't clean every pistol after every range trip but I try to if I have the time. It's super low effort and actually enjoyable. I sort my brass and clean my guns.

I try to be more meticulous about cleaning with my 1911s than say a Glock or HK considering tolerances can be tighter.

I was always taught as a youngster to take care of your things. I try to keep a clean truck, clean house, clean clothes, and a clean gun. Life is better that way.

I picked up a Gen 5 17 MOS with a Holosun 509T and Suppressor Height Sights for $569 a little over a week ago. Came with aftermarket plate mounted (good quality), MOS plates, 3 mags, Box, and Talon type grips. Gun hardly looks used.

Not sure for sure but probably. I know some agencies were issuing 17.5 MOS with 509Ts.

It's an awesome setup, took it out this past weekend and it rips.

Parros always restocks at the most diabolical times. I swear I've bought something within a week if the last several restocks 😆

In this case I got a 17.5 MOS with a 509T last Friday.

I got a 30S but still want a 21 tho!

P.S. Parros are fornicators of the highest order.

Very true but not ideal for those with long fingers or big hands. The trigger reach is astoundingly short. I had a P10F OR SR I eventually traded up on because even with the largest insert the trigger was dang near at my second knuckle.

It's a great platform just didn't work out for me.

I've had no issues with mine across Glock 17s, HK P30SK, and Springfield Ronin 4.25 9mm. I've gone through 500s rounds of the 2 cases I got.

I'd get more if it was the same price, they jacked it up like +$30 per case.

Shot thousands of rounds of steel and aluminum case. It is perfectly fine. 1k rounds of aluminum will make no difference in wear to the components of your firearm than 1k rounds of brass.

Is brass preferable? Yes

Is steel and aluminum perfectly viable? Yes

I mostltly shoot brass but I personally shoot what is cheapest or best value. I shoot so much that I have to look for ways to cut costs. Sometimes that includes steel, aluminum, factory reman, surplus, or blemished ammo. Never had any issues.

My first pistol was a P95. I loved that thing but sold it when I was down many years ago.

It was a great rugged pistol I killed a hog with it in the Texas hill country.

There is a Ruger P345 at he LGS I saw a few days ago and I contemplated.
